Tournament Definitions
1. Dubai Amateur Football League Men:
This section is for DAFL full member players and clubs
that are current in the DAFL 2009/10 season.
All players must be registered by the DAFL as
of 1st March 2010.
Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
2. Open Amateur Men:
This section is for adult male teams that are of amateur club standard. All players must be of amateur status
and not played professionally or had a trial for a professional club worldwide in the current season from August 1st 2009. Minimum age for competition is 16.
Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
3. Open Corporate Men:
This section is intended for teams of adult male employees from a single corporate entity.
Minimum age for competition is 18 years on 1st September 2009.
Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
4. Open Amateur Men Vets (Over 35s):
This section is for teams of men aged 35yrs or over on 1st September 2009 that are of amateur club standard. Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
5. Local Amateur Men Social:
This section is specifically for teams that are non-regular players who are UAE residents that come together to play almost exclusively in this competition.
Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
6. Open Amateur Ladies:
This section is for ladies teams. Min. age for competition is 14 years
on September 1st 2009.
Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
7. Open Under 18s:
This section is for U18s. Players must be under 18yrs on 31st August 2009.
Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
8. Open Under 16s:
This section is for U16s. Players must be under 16yrs on 31st August 2009.
Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
9. Open Under 15s:
This section is for U15s. Players must be under 15yrs on 31st August 2009.
Free weekend passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
10. Open Under 13s:
This section is for U13s. Players must be under 13yrs on 31st August 2009.
Free weekend passes for 12 players, 1 manager and 4 guardians.
Up to 13 reduced price adult passes for weekend per team (150dhs per pass).
11. Open Under 11s:
This section is for U11s. Players must be under 11yrs
on 31st August 2009.
Free Friday only passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
Free Friday only passes for each players parent or
guardian (maximum of 12 per team).
Up to 26 reduced price adult passes for Saturday
per team (100dhs per pass).
12. Open Under 9s:
This section is for U9s. Players must be under 9yrs on 31st August 2009.
Free Friday only passes for 12 players and 1 manager.
